The 5.3 billion euro Puma deal is valued at 330 euro per share by PPR, and the company said that it would be a friendly takeover. The complete takeover shall take place after the smaller acquisition process is complete. Puma, after this takeover, shall remain an individual company and not a subsidiary of PPR. The Puma Board welcomed this move saying that it was in the organizations interest. On July 17 2007, PPR held 62.1 % Puma shares.
